6 Days Samburu Nakuru Masai Mara Budget Camping

This 6-day experience safari includes visit to the Samburu National Reserve, the Samburu settlement, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the most well-known game reserve, Masai Mara, homeland to the Masai people.Usually, a cultural visit is voluntary.

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
Pick up at 8:00 am from your hotel in Nairobi. Drive north, passing through the Equator and Mt. Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch on the way. Arrive in the afternoon, check-in at your camp, and proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Samburu Full Day
Spend a full day exploring Samburu Game Reserve. Highlights include scenic beauty, rivers, and forests. Optional visit to a Samburu community village in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Samburu - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Samburu Game Reserve with game viewing en route. Pass through Thompson Falls, have lunch, and proceed to the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the late afternoon for a restful evening or an optional evening walk in town. Dinner and overnight at Eagle Palace Resort or similar.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park known for its birdlife and white and black rhinos. After lunch, depart for Masai Mara arriving late in the evening. Leisure time upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara
After breakfast with picnic lunch at the hippos pool by the Mara River, spend the day exploring Masai Mara. Witness the famous wildebeest migration and visit a Masai Village in the late afternoon for cultural insights and traditional dances (optional). Meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast. Depart Masai Mara with lunch in Narok Town. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon. Drop-off at the airport for your flight or at your city hotel where the safari ends.
